Melissa smirked. "She's always had the motherly attitude even when she was our ages. Wait until you really get to know Grandpa Amara. She can get a little funny sometimes, especially when she starts telling stories in how she made most of the Grandmas believe she was actually a guy and not a woman."
Sam chuckled. "Yeah that story is the most amusing one."

"Yeah," Destiny said. "It is a very amusing tale and sometimes the other Grandmas, especially Grandma Mina and Grandma Lita will get a little embarrassed over it." She did not want to mention that the Queen Mother also was part of that story as well.

"So...what do you all do for fun around here?" Mai asked,looking at her freinds.
Raye came back and informed the other elders that the fire readings failed to find any information about this new enemy. Amara started cleaning her glasses. "Amy-what if we took a sample of the snake venom,and ran it through the DNA analyzer? This may help shed some light on our new enemy."

Amy adjusted her glasses. "That is an idea."
"Sometimes not much," Diane answered.
"But when there isn't daily balls, we hang out in here, go out shopping and just plain do what other normal teenagers do," Faye smiled.

"It sounds like fun!" Mai said,as Rosa nodded.
"It's been fun touring the palace,but I'm afraid I must get back to the train station.Still lots of work to be done there." Rosa said.
"And I must be getting back to the fairgrounds,"Mai added." Hope to see you all again sometime."
Hotaru went out to the train and gathered a sample of the snake venom residue,and went and gave the sample to Amy.

"Rosa," Destiny called. "Let your boss know that the Queen is handling the derailment."
As the girls watched their new scouts leave, they began to think of what to do the rest of the day. Faye quickly jumped up and ran up to meet up with the girls who were leaving.
"Hey Rosa, mind for some company?" Faye asked as she caught up to her.
Once Amy had the sample she quickly made her way to her lab to see what she could find.

Trista smiled at her Queen.
"I'm doing better, Small Lady. How is the salvage operation doing with getting the trail out of the gardens? Our grandchildren did well today."

Queen Rini told Trista how the operation was going. "I hope you feel better soon,Puu..." Rininsaid,brushing some of Trista's grey hair out of the elder scout's eyes.

Trista softly smiled. "It's kinda of funny. Many years ago, I was doing the same you are doing to me. I'm glad the operation is going well. We have come a long way since those days."
Trista looked out her window for a few moments before turning to her queen. "I guess our peace has ended once more."

"Well that is what happens when age finally catches up. You will one day look like us but probably by then, we'll be gone," Trista answered. Trista raised her to her to queen's face. "Even now, age is beginning to gain up on you. But you should never fear old. It makes you wise."

While waiting for Amy to come back with results,Kali started talking to Hotaru about things,Michelle started knitting,and Amara drifted off to sleep.

For about an hour, Amy studied the sample. Finally she smiled in triumph but her eyes did not. Her eyes were full of worry. As quick as her age would allow her, she rushed to the gang.
"You're not going to like this," she called just before entering the room.
