Amara was nearby,repairing the riding lawnmower;she did'nt know Diane was close by.

"Come on," she hissed out. "I need to do this. If I can turn water into ice, I can use that to my advantaged." She opened her eyes to see the water hadn't even begun to chill. She knew she had to clear her head. She closed her eyes and began once again. This time with taking deep even breaths.

Amara happened to hear Diane,and went over to where the young scout was. The older scout stood there,just watching Diane try to perfect her powers.

For about another 5 minutes she tried. Finally she stopped. She looked at the glass and touched it. It was colder than before. "Yes. It's working. But it's going to take some time to fully perfect it."

Diane jumped, not realizing she was being watched. "Grandpa Amara. You startled me." She realized that Amara had watched what she was doing. "I am an Ice Scout but my powers have only been used for defense. I would like to try and make them more offense. I feel I can protect my family better that way."

Diane stood up from, detransformed and went inside to contact Amy to see if the Ice Scout could help her.
Faye and Melissa were with the twins talking about Marla and Lady Mel.
