Diane looked up at Rosa. She wiped her tears. "This place is gone and it was because of us. Those spawns attacked us directly because we spoiled their plans. And now this place is in shambles and it will never be touched again. In 40 or so years, this place will be over grown with vegetation. And to top it off Destiny is hurt and hurt badly only because her ankle was injured. Not to mention I now feel so lonely."

Rosa sat beside Diane,and began comforting her and talking to her.Touching Diane seemed to make romantic thoughts come to the mind of the Railway Scout.
*She sure is pretty...* Rosa thought,taking a few minutes to straighten out her necktie.

Diane leaned her head against Rosa. "I wish I had someone to comfort me in times like this," she admitted. "At home, I never had to worry as Grandpa Amara was always there for me, but she's younger here and she needs to comfort Grandma Michelle. Everyone has someone either to help them through this tough time or a boyfriend in ours. I never really gave time for someone special since I was working on the computer or reading a book. And now I wish I did have someone."
Diane sniffed and when she did, she got a wiff of the fragrance Rosa was wearing. It so reminded her of elder Grandpa Amara's cologne.

Rosa offered Diane more comforting words.The train scout's touch made Diane feel something different.

Diane looked up at Rosa suddenly as something suddenly washed over her. She suddenly started to feel as if she had someone. She noted how Rosa, after her first night at the Palace, began to hardly wear gowns to the balls and more wore Tuxedos just like Grandpa Amara did. She remember on thinking to herself on how 'handsome' she looked in tuxedos. She even remember the few times the two would share a couple waltzs together.
"Rosa," she said. "Are you wearing the same cologone that Grandpa Amara wears in our time?" Somehow the aroma would not leave her alone and it reminded her of when she told Amara that she wished she could find someone who wore the same cologone.

"Yes,I am." Rosa said,smiling at Diane. The young scout was starting to take note of how pretty Diane was,and remember how happy she was dancing with Diane at those balls.

"I love that scent. I even told Grandpa Amara once that I wish I could find someone who would wear that same scent. It's so calming to my nerves." Diane then leaned her head back and snuggled closer. Her mind was drifting to the last ball. Diane wore a soft lavender, lace, strapless gown. Her hair had been done up in curls. One could tell she love flaunting gowns. It was the one night where Rosa kept asking her dance and kept complimenting on how beautiful she looked. It was the ball directly the night before coming to the past.

Rosa smiled,remembering how she wore a nice blue tuxedo that night.Dancing with Diane had been so romantic.Rosa snapped out of her thought when she heard Michelle calling for her and Diane.
"It looks like we're needed,Diane." Rosa said,getting up and brushing her sport coat off.

Diane stood and then shivered. "Now I wish I didn't take the swim before all this happened." she said as she took a step forward. Her arms were beginning to get goose bumps from the slight breeze.

Diane looked up and smiled. "Thank you," she said with a soft smile. She placed her arms in the sleeves. She was able to take another wiff of the scent of the cologne. She cuddle the sport coat to her as she walked over to Michelle.
"Yes Grandma Michelle?" Diane asked.

"Could you be a dear and take these burned sheets to the curb,please? Rosa-I'd like you to help her take the ruined bed to the side of the curb as well." Michelle asked.
"Sure,Grandma Michelle!" Rosa said.

The two teens quickly did what they were asked. "It's a shame," Diane said. "All this stuff gone. Oh on!" she jerked. "Faye's camera. She took pictures of the mansion the other day. They probably are gone now too." Her face sadened again as she dropped the sheets on the ground at the curb. "We were going to redo the mansion for an anniversary present for Grandma Michelle and Grandpa Amara."

Diane hugged the teen back. "My life is coming apart." she cried, buring her head in the other teen's neck, able to get a good sniff of the cologne. It quickly began to calm her nerves. "I love that smell," she whispered.
