Faye was dancing with her father and was completely enjoying it. She missed her father so much. It did not take Diane to grab Rosa and get her to the dancing floor along with the many other couples.
Diane wanted to cuddle against Rosa but she withheld the idea until later when the two could be alone.
"I love you," she whispered. "You look very handsome. I wish I could kiss you right now. But I guess I can live with your arms around me."

Rosa whispered a "Thanks." to Diane,and smiled softly at her. "I love you,too,Diane." Rosa whispered back.

"Perhaps later now that we're home, instead of meeting in the gardens, we could meet in either my room or ours."
Faye continued to dance with her father. "I've missed you, father."
"I know you do," he said polietly. "And you did well in that fight years ago."
"You remember?"
"Where I did not know at the time, I didn't have to have memories perged. That is why I have been away these months. I knew you were going back in time."

Rosa nodded,and kept dancing with Diane.
Michelle went out to the balcony and looked out at the scenery.The old woman admired the night scenery,not knowing that someone was coming out onto the balcony.

"Is something the matter?" King Darien as he came up to her. He had seen Amara and Michelle end their dancing. Amara went to sit down and the other senior went to get some air so he followed.
Sam gave a smirk.

"I was just remembering when I was young," Michelle said."How often I would play the violin at fancy parties and black tie events,while Amara would play the piano.As the years rolled by,we both soon had to stop playing,for we were getting arthritis in our hands."
Rosa stopped dancing for the time being,and asked the other teens if they wanted to go to the buffet tables with her.

Diane had to hold back her protests as Rosa moved away and asked the others to dance. She moved away from the dance floor, giving room for other couples. She turned to see Rosa had chose Melissa to dance with her. With a soft smile she continued to move but stopped shortly when she saw Mai going to dessert table.
"Mai!" Diane snapped as she got to the teen. "What are you doin?"
"Yeah, being a senior does have it's problems," Darien agreed.

"Just checking out all these lovely desserts!" Mai said,eyeing all the sugary delights on the table."Maybe I'll go let Faye know about all these delicious looking cakes and pies and cookies..."
"I can remember that black tie event where I had danced with you and Amara danced with Serena," Michelle said." You were telling me about the person who was throwing the event.What was his name again? I'm getting bad with names these days.?

"Mai," Diane started. "You know you're not suppose eat too much junk food. Remember what happened that day when I found the secret room."
"Yes," Darien agreed. "I remember that day as well. Though I can not remember who the event was for. I know he spoke French and I was trying to teach Serena the others French."

Adeline came up. " What you need is a tasty salad,Mai.Fruits and vegetables are a lot healthier than all this sugary stuff." The rainbow scout took the circus scout over to where all the fruit and vegetable dishes were.
Michelle talked with Darein for a few minutes more." If you'll excuse me,Darein,my legs are starting to bother me.I'm going to go inside and sit down." the sea elder said.

"That's an idea," Diane said. "I think I'll stand here in case little miss hyperness comes to the table. We both know how quickly Faye can grab sweets."

Faye did try to sneak to the dessert table, but she was stopped by Diane. Diane did give her a sweet and offered and got Sam to take Mai over one but other than that, she wasn't allowing the hyper teens to eat too much dessert. When Faye left the table with a pout, Diane began to miss Rosa's arms.
Helios came up to Diane. "You look lovely tonight. May I have this dance."
Diane smiled and took the offer.

A couple of hours later,the ball was drawing to a close.The elders already had retired for the night,and the teens were still there.
