Diane smiled at her idol. "Hi Grandpa Amara. How are you this evening." Diane was still curled into Rosa's shoulder.

"Oh,I'm doing fine." Amara said,smiling as she had her arm linked with Michelle's arm. The elders proceeded into the banquet hall.

The teens waited until the elders were seated before they entered and sat for dinner. Diane saw her mother with the other mothers but this time she didn't have a rude look. Diane leaned to Rosa and whispered.
"Something is up with my Mom. At breakfast she was still angry but now she's not. Do you think someone spoke with her?"

Dinner was served and everyone began to eat. While they ate Darien stood.
"May I have everyone's attention. There will be a ball tonight. You are all invited, of course, but you do not all need to attend. I do request the audience of all the Guardians to Queen Rini to be present. Tonight's ball is to celebrate the anniversary the mayor and his wife. The ball will begin in 2 hours after dinner is over."

2 hours later,the ball had started. Rosa showed up in a nice tuxedo,escorting Diane. Absent from the ball were the elders,who had other things to do.

Rosa was wearing a nice gown that hung loose around her body. As she walked the gown would move with her legs.
"You look lovely, my love," Diane smiled as she was escorted to the ball room. Where not all the teens were going to be present they were not given a grand entrance. They only got the grand entrance when they all had to attend. When Diane and Rosa entered. They saw Faye dancing with her father.
"Faye really loves her father being here. Even after 40 years, he still looks the same. I was told once he had crush on Queen Rini and she had one on him too."
The other teens were working on printing out the images from Faye's camera and start looking up who they needed to call to get working on the place. They had 3 months to be ready.

"Yeah," Rosa said,straightening the handkerchief that was in her tuxedo pocket.' I heard that his life was saved by Uranus,Neptune,Pluto and Saturn once."
Adeline,the twins and Mai were helping the other teens. Adeline pointed to the picture of a chicken clock hanging on the kitchen wall. "We'll have to order this online-they stopped making these clocks 30 years ago." Adeline said.

"Yeah they did." Diane saw their dance ended and Faye went to the refreshments table. She soon began to giggle as a young boy began to flirk with her and she wasn't amused. "Someone likes her."
Sam saw a picture. "Here's something else we'll have to order." She pointed to a desk from a study. "I don't think they make desks like that. That looks antique."

Rosa chuckled,and offered Diane some diet soda pop.
"That is antique...Tara and I can get busy ordering thinfgs online." Clara offered.

Diane accepted. She sat over against one wall and waited her love to give her a drink. As she waited she continued to chuckled at Faye as she was getting annoyed. Someone finally stepped and scared the boy crapless. It was Evan, giving him what for. Faye thanked Evan and soon he asked her to dance.
Destiny began writing down what they needed to order. "So that's a chicken clock and an antique desk. Do you any of you guys remember if any of the paintings in the mansion were saved...besides the ones by the rooms we stayed in and in the rooms?"

Rosa poured some diet Sprite into a cup and handed it to Diane.
"There was one with a mermaid looking at a treasure chest," Mai recalled."And there was also one with a while splashing in the water."

"I ask," Destiny said. "Because we will need to get a painter in to paint the paintings that weren't saved."
"The patio furniture won't be the exact same, but I think they will understand when the see their old stuff, though copies," Sam said as she looked some photos of the pool. "Oh and make sure we get custome linens. I remember they had their name intials on their bathroom towels."
"Thank you," Diane smiled. When Rosa sat down, Diane curled into Rosa. "Are we going to sleep in our own rooms tonight?"

"I remember Michelle telling me about how she got some nice silk curtains for the dining room many years ago..the curtains were a pretty beige colour to match the earth tones of the dining room." Clara pointed out.
"I was thinking you could sleep with me tonight,my love." Rosa said,caressing Diane's cheek.

Diane smiled and leaned into the cheek. "I can't wait. I love waking to you beside me."
Faye watched as she danced with Evan, the young teens cuddle. She hoped that one day she could have a boyfriend who would love her the way those two were.
"Adeline, Clara and Tara. Would you three be able to pick up all new pool supplies tomorrow? We need to get the pool and and gardens done quickly. I already hired a contractor to repair the damaged area," Destiny said.
