Making Way For the Future

Once everyone was put into place...Diane and Rosa stayed at the Palace and were at first enjoying the quietness where they were able to spend all time to themselves and not have to worry about the others saying anything. Clara, Tara, Faye, Melissa and Adeline stayed at the mansion and helped the Aunts, Henrietta, daughter to Amara and Ashley daughter to Michelle, get back on their feet. Destiny, Mai and Sam transported back into time further than they were before, but before they were even born.

There was no Crystal Tokyo, technology was even less advanced, the elders were even younger some weren't even married yet, while others were freshly married. There wasn't even any Rini. Life seemed quite normal, but to the ones who travelled back, it wasn't normal and this time they were on their own. They were even able to see Sailor Moon when she was still in her whining stage, but was beginning to become graceful and less whiny.

"What the heck is that?" Sam asked as she saw something drive past her that had four wheels and a loud engine. At least to her it was loud.

"At least we are in the right time frame," Destiny said.

Mai nodded as she walked with Sam and Destiny. Over in the Retro Diner,Amara and Michelle were eating lunch,and quietly talking about artificial insemination. The diner was not crowded;there were only a few people there eating before the big lunch rush.

Michelle sighed and kind of nibbled at her salad. At the stove was Mel,the one who ran the diner.Mel felt sorry for the young couple as she cooked someone's grilled cheese sandwich.



"Hey-look! It's the Retro Diner! Didnt Grandpa Amara and Grandma Michelle eat here often?" Mai asked.

"Yes they did," Sam said.

"And Lady Mel ran it," Destiny said. "Remember, we can't transform this time nor can we make our selves noticed that much. Mai did make sure you grabbed enough money that's dated for this time and back?"

Mai nodded,and showed Destiny the money.

[Lady Serenity]

"Good. Let's hope it's enough," Destiny said. "We have to blend in as much as possible and do our best to follow ... Amara and Michelle to find out where the go. We have to be sure their daughters and sons are born."

The three ladies walked in the diner and they were both shocked behind their minds. The place was beautiful There was three areas and on top of each area said '50s', '60s' and '70s'. In the far area of the '50s', was the teens targets.

Michelle was at the counter with Amara;Michelle was eating a salad,and Amara was eating a cheeseburger and fries.

"Amara-we should go back to the Juuban Fertility Clinic and try again." Michelle said,taking a sip of her water. Amara nodded. "I'll try again this time." the blonde said,drinking some of her Pepsi.

Michelle sighed." I'm hoping it will work this time..I've just about given up hope.." Michelle said,shedding a few tears.

Mel kindly offered Michelle a napkin,and Michelle took it. Michelle asked Mel for her advice.

" Just keep trying,dear...hopefully you'll succeed this time." Mel said kindly.

Michelle dabbed at her eyes and nodded.

After lunch,Amara and Michelle paid Mel,and left the diner.

Sam felt sorry for the two women, they had tried already and it failed. But why? They were going to find out. Destiny noticed Mel gave them a look as if 'can I help you?' Destiny realized then they were standing looking stupid. She had to think of something. Hey, they were teens right? And teens did crazy things. And with it being the 1st part of the 21st century, teens were crazier. Remembering that Amara had said many teens used to use the diner as a teenage hang out and sometimes a base for tag, she gave Mel a nod.

"Well girls," Destiny said. "Our friends are not here. I guess they hid somewhere else. Let's go."

Mai smiled and left the diner."They said they were going to the Juuban Fertility Clinic," Mai said." We need to find out where that is."

[Lady Serenity]

"I kept an eye on where they were going," Sam said. "They were heading towards East Street. And they are on foot, so it can't be that far."

"Let's go," Destiny said. "I wonder if they have their mansion or if they are living somewhere else. Where they are living we're going to need to find lodgings if this takes longer than we think."

Amara and Michelle went into the fertility clinic and sat down to ait their turn.

The three teens continued to walk until a big sign nearly slapped them in the face ... well it seem like it would as they were practically in front of the building when the saw the sign 'Juuban Fertility Clinic'. Sam could see through a window to see the women sitting in a waiting room.

"They are there...what now?" Sam said.

"Whatever we do, we have to get in the back to find out what is going on," Destiny said. "Mai any chances your circus knowledge can help us out?"

"It depends on what needs to be done."Mai said.

"We need to get in there, through the back."

"Yeah, something about this place gives me the creeps," Sam said. "I don't like it. Why didn't Grandpa and Grandma notice this."

Destiny nodded. "We got to get in the back see what they are doing. We have to be sure this works. For the sake of our future. As much as I don't like the idea of having those blobs, Grandpa and Grandma would be happy to know they have children and Grandchildren. Remember their Grandchildren are fighting in space in our world."

Mai nodded as she snuck into the back with Sam and Destiny.

The three ladies went to the back and Mai using her talents was able to get the back door opened. To their shocking eyes, they were face to face with a lab.

"What the hell?" Sam jerked. "I don't think this is right for a clinic to get pregnant."

"It looks more like a science lab," Destiny agreed. "Something out of those old monster movies the guys like to watch."
