Three months had gone by since Diane was attacked by the snake youma. In that time many things happened to the Palace. First of all it took Diane nearly a month before she was able to get back to normal and start acting like her old self. In that month, she hardly allowed Rosa out of her sight, too scared to be alone. Rosa dealt with it and finally was grateful when Diane started to get back to normal.
In the 2nd month Kali's heath began to weaken again and she had passed away peacefully in her bed through the end at the end of that month. Josh was crushed, he was grateful though that Adeline was at his side through the whole thing, which helped to strengthen their bond. Of course Josh wasn't the only one his mother and two Aunts were too and so were the twins. But they were glad they had got to meet their Grandmother, unlike Adeline, Mai and Rosa. Everyone was sad to see a great warrior pass on, but that was life. Each person had some one to grieve with when it happened.
Now a month had gone since the passing of Princess Kali, who was now resting with the other two Princesses, in the crypt of the Palace. The Palace was beginning to get back to normal. During the this month, Amy tried to bring some happiness, though she was still sad. She quickly got a lawyer and got the paper work all done up. And Now she was now the legal Grandmother to Mai, Rosa and Adeline, which made Diane really happy.

Mai,Rosa and Adeline hugged their now legal grandmother,happy to have her as their grandmother.
The Crown royals were overseeing the turning of Kali's former chambers into a lovely tribute to the Shadow Realm,the place Kali was a guardian of.

Amy smiled at her new Granddaughters. "This makes me very proud. I've gained 3 new granddaughters. And in a few years, I'm sure, my beautiful blood Granddaughter will marry my beauitful Sailor Trax granddaughter. And then I have my circus and rainbow granddaughters too. And you are both beautiful too."
The four teens were sitting in Amy's room talking.
All of Princess Kali's things were removed from the room and placed in storage. The daughters already took what they wanted so the rest was put away for the Granddaughters and sons when they would move into a bigger room of the Palace.

Diane pulled away. "Rosa...we're now connected in more than one way. We're girlfriends, but now we're legally family without even a marriage to say so. I can't wait til I can share your name, then we can be family by name too."
Amy smiled. "I would love to be there at your wedding. So you two are still wanting to stay together?"

Amy smiled as the two lovebirds were looking at each other romantically. "You two so remind me of Amara and Michelle. They would speak quotes of love and devotion to each other." Amy looked at Adeline. "I've noticed you are getting closer to Josh. I would like to know if it's getting serious?"

Diane looked at Adeline. "Adeline in love? I had no idea...but then again I was completely lost in my own world."
Amy patted Diane's leg. "It's alright dear. I think we all understand why you were lost. So do you love Josh that much to spend you life with him. You know marriage is a life long commitment. Or at least it should."

Amy smiled. "I think it will be nice to have a family who is half shadow and half light."
Diane leaned against Rosa. "That will be quite the pair. Would the child be able to travel in the light realm or dark realm or both?"

"I can never say this enough," Amy said. "But I am so proud of all my girls. I just wish Fransine..." Amy trailed off.
Diane pushed away from Rosa and cuddled to her grandmother. "It's ok Grandma. Mom, loved you and me, dearly. It's not her fault she turned out the way she did. It was Nexus when she kidnapped her. They planted a seed of evil within her. The real sailor Icestorm would not have done all those bad things."
Diane was trying to brighten her Grandmother's spirits without telling her the real truth.

Diane looked at her 'sister'. "I don't think that would work. It would create a time paradox where there would be two worlds. One where my Mom left and one where my Mom is still here, which would ultimately change all our lives, and possibly my love for Rosa." Diane then came up with an idea. She turned to her Grandmother.
"Grandma, we're going to let you rest now. I'm sure you're probably getting tired now."
Amy nodded. The elder woman, with help of her granddaughters, went to her room to rest. The girls left the room and got the girls to go to the rec room, not saying anything.
