The two women continued to talk about songs until it was meal time where they helped each other to get dressed for dinner and ball.
Days flowed by and it was now the day of the wedding. Everyone was busying getting ready as the bride started to feel frantic. She had to sleep into another room the night before and still couldn't see her soon to be wife as the mothers and Grandmothers wouldn't let her.
"I'm going to go insane!" Diane huffed. She was pacing the room with her hair done up but she was still in her white silk robe. A typical outfit a bride would normally wear before putting on her gown.

"Now,Diane..you'll see Rosa soon enough,dear." Raye said tothe young ice scout. Raye's grey hair was done up in a bun,and the old fire scout was wearing a modest yellow dress with pretty gold lace trimming.

Diane looked at former fire scout. "Grandma Raye, I haven't been this long away from Rosa since we started to see each other. I'm worried in how she's doing. Where's my mother and Grandma?"

Just then Amy and Fransine walked in. Amy suddenly felt tears well up in her eyes.
"My baby darling is getting married," the former ice scout said. "I'm sorry honey, your mother and I had to see how Rosa is fairing. She is our family too legally."

Diane hugged her mother. "Are you sure?" she asked.
"Diane," Destiny said. "You know you're just having pre-wedding jitters. You'll do fine. Now hurry up let's get you in your dress so we can get to the beach."
"You look good," Josh said as he helped Rosa with her bow tie. "And nervous."

Raye smiled warmly as Fransine handed the dress to Diane.
"Yeah..I am nervous." Rosa said,thanking Josh.

"I've heard girls are usually more nervous than guys," Josh commented. "And soon you'l see your blushing bride and I'm sure she's going to be beautiful. And don't you worry I have the rings."

Diane began to get really nervous as she stood with her gown on, waiting for the time to start. People were arriving at the beach and being escorted to their seats.
Her fellow scouts were there standing beside her in their gowns, trying to keep her calm.
"Take deep breaths," Faye said. "People get married all the time."
