A blisk day on Eternia wasn't the only thing that had the Soceress worried. She had felt a strong bad vibe of some evil plot Skeletor was planning from way out in Snake Mountain, a place he was banished to many years ago When King Randor and Queen Marlena were given the blessing of twins. One girl and one boy. But the girl had been stolen by another evil man named Hordak and was never seen from again until many years later when their daughter was a grown woman.
That daughter was named Adora and she was brainwashed to be evil but finally broke free from the spell. Now she lived on the same planet she was raised on but as a freedom fighter and unknown to her parents she had a magical sword, which transformed her into a formidable foe to Hordak, named She-Ra.
But Adore wasn't the only one with a magical sword, her twin brother, Adam also had one as well and he would transform into He-Man. However with Adam he was given his magic sword on his 18th birthday, Adora wasn't found until four years later.
No one really knew the Soceress' real name, only that she was the guardian of Castle Grayskull and until Adam and Adora came to their gifts, was also the guardian of the magical swords. It was destiny for the twins to have the swords. The Soceress could not use her powers outside of Grayskull and often would transform into a falcon to send messages. Or she would send a telepathic message to who she needed to. Which is what she had done already, now she was waiting on the arrival of He-Man.
The Soceress' heart gave a sudden shudder of relief when she felt the Prince's presence as He-Man. And it wasn't long after that, he stood before her with his might Battlecat, which was a coward green and yellow striped tiger when in normal form.
"What is so urgert?" He-Man asked.
"He-Man," the Soceress started, sitting on her throne. "I sense terrible danger."
"What is Skeletor's plan this time?"
"I don't know, but I sense a rift opening. I'm doing all the I can to keep my focus on it." The Soceress suddenly stood up. "No!"
Her body suddenly fell from her throne, which was at the top of a dais of stairs. He-Man was quick to dive down to her before she hit the ground.
"Soceress!" he barked in concern.
"A...portal..." the Soceress rasped out. "...has opened... to Earth..."
"Earth?" He-Man gasped. "How is that possible?"
"I don't know..." The Soceress was currently too weak to move. "But I fear... She-Ra will be needed." With a weakened arm, she slowly waved it over to the door to Etheria, where He-Man's sister lived. "Go and retrieve her. Earth... is your mother's birth place. I will be alright in a few moments."
He-Man carefully rested the Soceress on the ground. "I'll get her and return here. Be safe. Let's go Battlecat!"
"Right behind you!" the cat growled.
He-Man got to his feet and ran towards the portal. Battlecat was close behind him.
