Thanks everyone. I'm sorry that I haven't been here much lately but I've had to reinstall Windows on my computer a few times since I joined here and I lost the link for this forum.

Oooo, that sucks. Well at least you found us again.

Yeah having to reformat the computer really sucks out. I've had to that with mine like 4 times in one year. But it's been over 6 months (knock on wood) since I've had to redo it. It's a good thing I use blank cds to back up stuff so I can put the stuff back on when it's done formatting

That's good. I've been saving my stories to floppy disc lately. I'm planning to get USB drive at some point so I can save my stories to that.

oh you mean a flash drive....usb drive is what many things plug into. Including camera cords, printers, external drives (floppy drives and harddrives) etc.

I have an 8gb flash drive and a 500gb external harddrive

I'm sorry again for not being in awhile but I've been having problems with my modem for my internet. The internet keeps getting disconnected on me. My cousin and I both are sure that it's because the modem is going. I have my internet right now but I'm not sure how long I'll have it for because if the modem messes up again than I'm getting a new one.

Helios, it does sound like your modem. I had a router that was doing the exact same thing and I was told the router had worn out and had to get a new one. Now I have a modem with a built in router

My modem has been actually working better since my cousin phoned the my internet company and got them to reset it but I'm keeping my eye on it just make sure it stays working good.

I got a flash drive from a guy that goes my church because he loads of them so you told my mother that he give me one. I have tried it out yet but I will soon.
