Melissa walked into the ballroom in just normal street clothes. She couldn't believe how the ball was ruined. She looked up to see the beautiful sunshine shining through where glass once stood. There were some repair crews in taking measurements to the destroyed windows so new ones could be placed in.
This morning's breakfast was very quiet as half of the elders were not there. Not even the former King and Queen were there. Of course her current rulers were there, but it was still quite quiet. Once breakfast was over, Melissa went to the clinic to see how her grandmas were doing and when she was satisified that they were being as stubborn as ever she decided to check in on the ballroom.
Nearby she saw Rosa and Grandma Raye talking.

Raye and Rosa greeted Melissa,and Raye informed Melissa that Mai just moved in after choosing not to go with the carnival after it left early this morning.
"She's in her room resting,"Rosa said."She stayed up late last night helping to take the carnival down." Rosa told Melissa.

"Wow," Melissa said. "I guess King Darien will be pleased to hear that. But I suppose Mae feels a little sad because her family has left her. I wonder if she's up for some company?"

The two teens made their way to the East Wing, leaving Grandma Raye to supervising the cleanup. Once they came to Mae's door they knocked and waited for an answer.
"Wow, nice room," Melissa said as she walked in and and saw Mae sitting on the bed.

Melissa stopped looking around as it slightly resembled her room. "We thought to come in here to cheer you up, thinking you may be sad because of what happened last night and this morning."

"Well we still have a few hours before training," Melissa said. "And since we've been asked to stay out of the way of the repairs, I was thinking of heading to the indoor pool for a swim. I think Diane is down there now, doing her normal morning swim routine."

"Yeah," Melissa smiled. "Diane is a real fish now in the water. Why don't you just bring your swimsuit with you and we'll change in the locker room down there. I'll quickly get mine and Rosa can get hers. And we'll go together."

Mina lightly tapped on the Royal suite and waited until there was an answer and when she was ushered in, she came in with a tray of food. She walked over to her friend's bed.
"You have to keep up your strength," Mina smiled. "And the Serena I know loves to eat."

Serena tiredly sat up in bed and thanked Mina,then began nibbling at the food.She was tired from last night's attack.

Mina sat on her friend's bed. "If it makes you feel any better. Mae is now going to stay here at the Palace. She's right now in her room and I saw Melissa and Rosa go towards their wing."
Mina sighed. "Serena we are all worried. Those ... spawns ... were created from my our daughters. I hate knowing there's one that is trying to defeat us and take their position as being here in the Palace. But we have defeated 3 of them already, we can do it again and now we have stronger scouts than our daughters."
