"So that was your grandmother looking down upon us just now," Rober said as the crescent moon was the last to fade away.
When the beams were gone, Darien waved his hand to the band to begin playing music. They had to get the party started and he was sure people were starting to get hungry. Tonight's party was going to be a cold buffet...also known as finger food. There was a small spot for some hot food of pasta for anyone who wanted that, but mostly it was cold trays of meats, sea foods, sandwiches, cheese, fruits, vegetables and even some desert trays.

Bottles of Pepsi,Coca-Cola,Mountain Dew,lemonade,water,diet soda,grape juice,apple juice and tea were the refreshments offered.
Rosa smiled at Diane and offered to get her anything she wanted.

Diane smiled. "All I want is to be with my fiancee," she said. "This afternoon in the gardens was so wonder." She looked at her ring to see how it shone. "But this is even better." She looked back to Diane. "I will have what you have. You make me feel so special. Would you like an engagment ring? Or just a wedding band when the day comes?"

They soon were not alone. Faye turned to the person behind and nearly chocked. She was shocked to see who was behind her and Mai. "Father..." she squeaked.
Helios gave his daughter a near disapproving look.
Once Diane had her share of food. She quickly wanted Rosa to dance with her. "Dance with me." She stated simply as she stood up. "I want the arms of my offical future wife around me."

Rosa gladly obliged,and started dancing with Diane.
Amara and Michelle came up." You've eaten enough sweets,Faye." Amara said firmly.
" Let's go get some fruits,cheese and vegetables,dear." Michelle added.
Mai was already hyper,and had gone to Amy. "Amy-I know for a fact that Jelly World really DOES exist!" Mai said,giggling.

Amy gave the teen a blank look. "Darling," she said. "What are you talking about?"
Helios nodded. "I agree. Faye if I catch you with any more sweets tonight you will be in trouble. You hear me?"
Faye lowered her head. "Yes, father." She looked at Amara and Michelle. "I'm sorry," she said to them.

Amara and Michelle took Faye over to where the fruits,cheeses and vegetables were.

Mina and Faye's mother walked over to Mai. "Mai you should be ashamed of yourself," Faye's mother said sternly. Both women, elder and younger looked very disappointed. "Now who's idea was it for the sweets?"

Adeline was dancing with Josh. " Oh,josh..dancing with you is so heavenly." Adeline said,smiling happily at Josh.

"She did, did she," Faye's mother looked up to see her husband was dealing with Faye. "Well it looks like Faye is holding her hyperness in."
Amy looked at her friend and friend's daughter. "Doesn't Faye, when she gets too hyper and gets in trouble, hold it in until later?"
"Yes," Faye's mother answered. "She won't sleep and then she'll suffer tomorrow for being tired all day."
Josh smiled as he twirled Adeline, marvelling how well her gown twirled with her as he did so. "And seeing in that gown is very heavenily to me. It makes me glad I'm a guy and get to see a beautiful woman dress up so nice."

Adeline thanked Josh. "You look really handsome in the tuxedo.Didn';t your grandmother give that to you 5 months ago?" the ranibow scout asked.

Faye's mother quicky got angry. She quickly grabbed Mai and pulled her out of the ballroom. Amy had to turn her head in embarrasment.
Once outside the ballroom, Faye's mother stopped. "How dare you do that! IN front of your adopted grandmother no less! You are forbidden from attending the rest of this party, unless you can smarten up right now. You will not ruin this party for Diane and Rosa. You hear me?"
Josh sadly smiled. "Yes, she did. It was the last thing she gave me and I felt it was a good night to wear it."
