The two got out and went to the 'reception' hall, the ball room, where everyone applaud their arrival. They soon were pulled away by a photographer who took several hundred pictures before allowing the newly weds to take their seats and allow the recepticon to begin.
Before long the two were pulled to the table where tons of gifts were piled up.
"My favorite part," Diane smiled, giving her wife a lovely kiss.

The first gift was was a picture frame from Amara and Michelle.The photos were of Amara and Diane as Diane was growing up from a baby to the present before the wedding. There was also a pretty scarf that Michelle had knitted for Diane.

The 2nd gift which was opened came from Diane's mother was 2 sheet sets. One were Diane's colors and the other were Rosa's colors.

The 3rd gift was from Amy;it contained a set of books that Diane and Rosa could read.

The women continued to unwrap gifts ranging from other sheet sets, to candles, to figurines, jewellry, to other new decorations. They even received items for when they would someday move into a bigger room when they would have a family and need more things. When the gifts were finished in being opened, it came time for the first dance, which Diane and Rosa cuddled really close. Diane couldn't wait until later when she would be able to see her wife in all her glory. (meaning what they do in bed)

Rosa danced with Diane.
"I heard your idol taught you how to do ballroom dancing." Rosa told Diane.

Diane was leaning against her wife's chest. "You heard correctly," she said. She would have whispered but she had to pick up her voice over the music playing. "Grandma Amara is a wonderful dancer. Grandma Michelle is lucky to have her as I'm lucky to have you."

Rosa nodded and she smiled at her wife. "Someday we'll be just like Grandpa Amara and Grandma Michelle." the train scout told the ice scout.

The two continued to dance until their song was over. When they finished a fast upbeat song started where others could dance. Diane pulled Rosa to a corner so she could cuddle her wife.
Being sure not to mess her hair up, yet, Diane carefully laid her head on Rosa's shoulder. "This is so perfect."

"Yes,it is,my love." Rosa said softly as the elders sat out of the upbeat dance.
"Rosa and Diane remind me so much of Amara and Michelle on their wedding day." Raye told Amy.

Amy looked at the corner where the two newly weds were cuddling. "I'm so happy," Amy smiled. "My darling young one is a beautiful bride. I just hope it's not spoiled."

Raye nodded as a white beam,pink beam,black beam and a rainbow beam shone done on the newlyweds.
"Look! It's Retro,Shamrock,Shadow and Greg smiling down on our young lovers!" Raye said as the beams got everyone's attention.

Diane looked up and suddenly busted out with tears of joy, slightly ruining her makeup. "Rosa, they are happy for us."
Amy's eyes misted with water as well. Her husband was proud of his granddaughter. At the same moment, Robert looked up and saw another beam. He looked at his wife.
"My Queen, your grandmother also shines down upon them."

Just then Faye did something unexpected but at the same time, very predictable to her. She suddenly yelled out. "The family is all here!"
Mina rolled her eyes at her granddaughter as her hyperness from eating was starting to come out again.
Diane giggled at her Sailor friend. "She'll never change."
