Lost Love
I look up into the heavens
And all I can see is pain
I look at the stars to see them twinkle
Why did they have to my love away?
I think back to the days of joy
In those days I had fun
But now there is no more joy
All I want to do is die
I just want to stay in the arms I love
But my love has been ripped away from me.
I had a perfect life planned out
We would get married when I was of age
Have a family and a big home
He’d give me everything I want
But all I want is him
I don’t want anything but him.
I sit up at night and dream
Of what life could have been like with him
Most nights I cry myself to sleep
Just as I fall sleep I feel a presence
It’s as if he’s watching me
I feel a cool breeze on my lips
As if he’s kissing me
Before the presence leaves
I hear the wind whisper ‘I love you always’
I like to think that he is my guardian angel
But maybe it’s just my mind playing tricks
No, I refuse to think that
I smile faintly before sleep takes over
He is watching over me.

Here I am beside this young girl,
A young girl no more than fifteen.
She is kind and friendly
And a very attractive young woman.
She is the light to my darkness.
I’ve had an attraction to her from the start.
It was her light and love,
That pointed me down a new path.
But that new path has been destroyed,
For I am dying in her arms.
I have fallen in love with this girl,
But I never knew I was in love with her until now.
I used her many times to steal energy,
But I did not realize that it was love
That kept me going back to her.
I see the Sailor Scouts save my love,
But there is no time for them to save me.
As I die in her arms,
I tell her not to forget me
And that she is always in my heart.
Now that I am gone I see her weep.
She cries for days with no end.
All I want to do is hold her,
But I cannot for I am a ghost,
With unfinished business.
I see her find comfort in another one’s arms.
It makes me jealous but I understand.
Someday we will meet again
And be together forever,
For we are soulmates.
