Why didn't Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune continue to work with the scouts during the 4th season?
I think it would have been interesting to see that.

It is time peop[le stopped acting like the term "Scouts" is an insult to the Sailor Senshi. In role-playing games such as Final Fantasy and Dungeons & Dragons, scouts are often fighters that fought against other forces. The term "Scouts" does not only apply to boy/girl scouts, and people should not think that the term only refers to boy/girl scouts. If the term "scouts" is used in "Sailor Moon",then people should learn to look at the tern in the way that role playing games define it.

You are right about the US dub stripping most of the Japanese culture away from the anime(and I wish they did not do such a stupid thing),and you've made some very good points in your post.Since I tend to play a lot of fantasy video games,I've always looked at the term "scouts" as fighters.
The more I look at the dub,the more I wish the dubbers have done a better job.I like the US dub and all,but to make stupid moves like giving American names to Japanese people and trying to pass Haruka/Amara and Michiru/Michelle off as cousins makes me think less of the US dub.Really-it could of been handled in a better way. They really should of left all references to the Japanese culture in the dub.

i think they should of too, but as I've noticed in a lot of japanese films translated into english there were a lot of problems with what it actually meant. I was watching Spirited Away a few nights ago and I watched the translation issues they had with the movie. When it came down to Zaneba's solid monogram seal they believed that the black slug that infected Haku was an actual seal like the animal, they didn't pay attention to the fact that its a stamp. So I currently believe they just had issues with the whole translation. As far as the translations of names only Hotaru was actually able to keep her whole name. It would of been nice if DiC didn't take away from the show its basic originality, I went to Mexico when I was younger when Sailor Moon first came out in the states, they were showing just the original anime no dubs nothing, it was all in spanish mind you, but there was no dub and the names weren't changed it was kinda interesting that was the only summer I didn't want to leave Mexico!!
