"And who would this 'friend' be,hmm?" Maya asked,glaring at He-Man.
"No problem." Retro said,launching a Disco Ball Smash attack towards a punk with a blue mohawk.
The cyborg bull tried attacking Man-at-Arms,while the anthro dog fought Tigerseye.
Sailor Moon told She-Ra all about the Chalice Cup.
"Interesting..." She-Ra said.
Nearby,Skeletor,Evilyn and BeastMan were hiding. "BeastMan-use your power on those animals to make them attack she-Ra and the others." Skeletor said. BeastMan nodded and started using his powers.
" I was thinking-" Uranus began when she saw Shadowpaw baring his teeth and her and approaching her growling with his ears back.
What the-" Uranus asked.
"Shadowpaw! What's gotten into you?" Shadow asked her guardian wolf.
Finnegan bleated,turned around,and charged at Neptune,butting her in the side and knocking her down.
Neptune cried out in pain.
"Begorrah,Finnegan! What's with ya?" Shamrock asked.
Luna started attacking Mars,and Artemis turned around and started attacking Tuxedo Mask.
Swiftwind reared and tried to attack She-Ra.

"Swiftwind!" She-Ra gasped as she backed away.
"Luna! No!" Sailor Moon cried. "What's happening!"
"No! Artemis!" Venus screamed.
Angel and Storm watched and couldn't figure what the problem was. "Storm we have to do something."
Storm looked to the sky. "Hear my cries! Clouds form and create rain!"

He-Man glanced away. "Retro! Who was that friend you spoke of about knowing Maya when she was younger?" He-Man knew it was Retro but he didn't know her name. He knew giving away identities was something that may happen.

Rain came,and broke Beast-Man's concentration. The animals stopped.
Shadowpaw had just leapt and clamped his dull teeth on Uranus's gloved hand when the rain made him come to his senses. The old wolf released the butch scout's hand. "I'm sorry,Uranus-I don't know what came over me." Shadowpaw said.
Finnegan realized what he had done to Neptune. "Baaa..what have I done? Neptune-I'm so sorry." the old white goat bleated in his Irish brogue.
Retro told He-Man the friend's name was Mel Kazama,and how Mel and Maya grew up as friends over 60 years ago.

She-Ra saw Swiftwind and the 2 cats returned to normal as well. "If I know my enemies, that was Beastman who just did that. Beastman is one henchman to Skeletor who can control animals."
"Mama! Papa!" Saturn yelled as she ran over to them. "I was so frightened."
The rest of the Inners looked on in shock. This was the first time their mentors attacked them. Pluto was also in a state of surprise. "We have to get Neptune to a doctor fast."
He-Man turned to Maya. "Don't you remember Mel Kazama? You two have been friends for over 60 years." He had to find a way to get through to her.

"It's okay." Uranus said." I'll take Neptune to a doctor."
Uranus scooped Neptune up. "I'll come with you." Saturn said.
Uranus nodded and went with Saturn to take Neptune to the hospital. Pluto went with them to help keep Saturn calm.
Mars and Tuxedo Mask were mildly scratched up,but they said they were okay.
"Mel Kazama....she's the one that runs that diner...."Maya said,stopping to remember. The evil dark stone on Maya's necklace with evil dark energy,and started trying to regain control of the old woman.
" Mel Kazama...that goody two-shoes who runs that pitiful little Retro Diner," Maya said. " Forget her! The Sailor Scouts will be destroyed....."
Maya struggled between the aura of good and the aura of evil.
"No-I can't destroy the Scouts...they've been so nice to me...but the Silver Crystal WILL be mine! But....I can't take what isn't mine.."
The dark stone's power increased,and Maya produced a knife and turned to Retro.
"DIE!" Maya said,suddenly charging Retro and stabbing the old Scout of Peace in the side,much to the horror of the Amazon Trio,BattleCat and the alien humans.
"Maya...why.....?" Retro asked before collapsing into the floor.

He-Man saw the stone glow and knew that was where its source was coming from. In a quick action he lept after Maya. "Maya no!" he yelled but it was too late. As he lunged for her, he missed, grabbing the necklace instead. As she stabbed her friend, the pull He-Man had on the necklace caused it to break off her neck.
Tiger's Eye pushed Maya off Retro and Hawks Eye ran to the old woman. "She needs medical attention!"
Seeing as he had the necklace in, He-Man narrowed his eyes at the jewel and then suddenly smashed it with his hand but balling it into a fist. He released the jewel then, letting the millions of shards, some shards turned to dust, to fall to the ground. "There will be no more of that!"
Fish Eye watched in shock. "Handsome and very strong..." he stuttered.
She-Ra walked over to Mars. She pulled out a cloth from beneath's Swiftwind's saddle, wrapping it around Mars' wound. "That should hold for the time being."
"Darien!" Sailor Moon squeaked without thinking. "You're hurt!" She rushed to him, not realizing it wasn't that bad

Maya came to her senses. " No! What...what have I done...?" Maya asked,rushing over to Retro.
"It wasn't your fault," Retro said,starting to detransform. " That evil stone....made you do it..." Retro detransformed into Mel.
"What..Mel...you're Sailor Retro...?" Maya asked,and Mel nodded.
Tigerseye went over to Mel and gently scooped her up." I'll take her to the hospital." tigerseye said,and he teleported to the hospital with the old woman.
The henches-including the humans-disappeared into thin air.
"Sailor Moon! You're not supposed to reveal identities. Mars hissed quietly to Moon.
" I'm sorry...I wasn't thinking..." Sailor Moon replied.
"I'm okay,really I am." Tuxedo Mask said.
Sailor Shadow turned to She-Ra. " How close does this Beast-Man have to be in order to control animals?" the old shadow scout asked as the rain let up.

He-Man turned his head. His mind suddenly began to wonder if Teela would ever find out his secret. If she were to find out, he had a feeling she would freak out. Of course Man at Arms would be there to help him out if that happens. She probably would never forgive either one for deceiving her. And then there was his parents to deal with, if that were to happen.
Teela walked over to the sad woman. "Don't blame yourself too much. I'm sure Mel was just trying to protect you. There are an awful lot of enemies out there."
"Teela speaks the truth," Man at Arms responded.
She-Ra looked voer at the older woman. "He-Man is the best known to answer that question. I'm from Etheria and there I have to fight the Horde, taking back what is rightfully the people of Etheria. Skeletor and his minions are on Eternia and they fight He-Man to conquer Eternia, but they have failed so far."

"Well...we've got Teela....let's head back." Man-at-Arms said.
"I'm going to go to the hospital to see how Mel is doing." Maya said. Fisheye and and Hawkseye teleported Maya to the hospital.
Man-At Arms,Teela,BattleCat and He-Man went back to where the others were there waiting.
"Hey-you rescued Teela! " Mars said.
"Wait-where's Sailor Retro?" She-Ra asked He-Man,Teela and Man-at-Arms.

He-Man looked at the scout in red and long black hair. "She was wounded by Maya before I could break the spell that was binding her to evil."
Man at Arms looked around. "Everyone seems to be on edge what happened?" His eyes were darting from the bandaged hand of Mars to the tense look each talking animal had.

Tuxedo Mask told them about the guardian animals and Swiftwind turning on them and attacking them.
"Neptune was injured by Finnegan,and went to the hospital.Pluto,Uranus and Saturn went with Neptune." Venus explained.
"I think it was BeastMan who did this." She-Ra said.
"Which means he's gotta be hiding around here somewhere." Jupiter added in.

"Which means," Tuxedo Mask "he's still in the area."
"Mars! Do you sense any bad vibes?" asked Artemis as he hoped onto Venus' shoulder.

Mars concentrated,and opened her eyes.The fire scout pointed out the hiding location of Beast-Man.
"I think a dark mist arrow will drive him out into the open." Shadow said,loading a black arrow into her dark longbow. The old woman took aim,and let the arrow fly in the direction mars pointed to.
The arrow landed by Beast-Man's feet,releasing a dark grey smoke which sent the evil being coughing out into the open.
"There he is!" Teela pointed out.
He-Man went over and hoisted Beast-Man up by the evil man's armor.
" So you're the one who made Swiftwind and the guardian animals attack those people over there." the blonde hero said.

Beastman was a bit overwhelmed by He-Man's outburst. He then grinned, once the coughing ceased. "And I'll do it again too. Skeletor will be most pleased to hear about He-Man losing his cool."
Storm raised an eyebrow. "How do you know this? Perhaps you just never seen He-Man when he was angry. We are, afterall, in a different world." Storm stepped closer. "How about it He-Man, how about I zap his butt from here to Skeletor?"
She-Ra lightly laughed. Storm reminded her of her friend Frosta.

" Maybe this lad would like to be havin' a taste o' me Irish temper." Shamrock said.
" I'm out of here!" Beast-Man said,breaking free from He-man and starting to run off.
" Oh no ya don't,lad! Pot O' Gold Rush!" Shamrock said,and a large pot of fake gold landed on Beast-Man. The pot disappeared,and Beast-Man sat up. "That old fossil packs quite a wallop..." the evil man said.
" Tell us where Skeletor and Evilyn are hiding." He-Man told Beast-man.
